The January Furniture Show (JFS) is the UK’s biggest furniture show perfectly aligned with the retail industry’s buying calendar. Across four days at the NEC Birmingham from 19 - 22 January 2025, JFS drawer 20,000 visitors looking to explore contemporary furniture, innovative design concepts, interior accessories and homewares from over 400 brands, including the likes of: Alpha Designs, Kettle Home, La-Z-Boy, Wiemann and loads more!

As one of Europe’s first shows in the buying calendar, JFS is perfectly placed at the right time for buyers looking to revitalise their new year collections and be amongst the first to see new-season launches, styles and trends. Having served the industry for over 34 years, JFS unites the industry in a shared passion for innovative design and expert manufacturing offering access to over 50,000 new products across four halls.

What we do

The January Furniture Show is a market leading event offering the furniture and design industry the opportunity to source new products, network and be inspired. As a destination for industry icons and emerging talent alike, JFS is where industry leaders and the most inspiring creatives in furniture design, manufacturing and retailing unite. Home to the latest product launches and unveilings, JFS is the UK’s destination for furniture and interior buying in Q1 which gives retailers the opportunity to discover products their customers will love.

Across four halls, visitors can explore 4 sectors consisting of: Premium Design, Interiors Accessories and Furniture, Living, Dining and Bedroom along with Furniture Upholstery and Beds. Showcasing the very best in everything from classic to contemporary, statement pieces to ones with mass appeal, it can all be found on the JFS show floor.

The 2024 show will be co-locating with the Home & Lifestyle Show (HLS) which will be once again co-locating with JFS in Hall 2. HLS is an aspirational marketplace for a wide breadth of trend-led interior and exterior accessories including eye catching homewares, cosy home comforts, eclectic light fixtures and more. Featuring over 10,000 products sourced from across the globe, buyers will be able to effectively build their new collections from the likes of: Blue Bone Imports, Kelston House International, Malini, Premier Housewares, Scatter Box, Think Rugs and many more!

Over the show’s 4 days there are ample opportunities for visitors and exhibitors to network and build connections effectively. Brand new for 2024, the art deco inspired Champagne Bar in Hall 1 is the perfect setting for professionals to mingle, exchange ideas, and forge meaningful relationships in a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere.

Show Party & The Furniture Awards

Sunday 21st January

Come and raise a glass as JFS celebrates the winners of The Furniture Awards created with long standing show partner Furniture News. Magazine editor Paul Farley will be announcing the award winners across 5 categories who have been chosen by industry experts.

Women in Furniture Network

Monday 22nd January

Following a successful launch, the Women in Furniture Network will be bringing their 3rd event to JFS for a “Speed Networking Spectacular”. Visitors and exhibitors can take part in a fun and energetic networking session once the show has closed and build up their industry contacts helping grow their network.

Showcases

Throughout the show

Discover new talent with showcases from the Young Furniture Makers (YFM) and the British Furniture Manufacturers (BFM). YFM will be presenting their young designer-makers award winning pieces to the industry, while BFM will be announcing the winners of their Future of Furniture Awards. There will also be interactive sessions hosted by FIRA and ACID which will cover key challenges faced by brand owners and professionals within the industry.
