We're a creative Agency specialising in the design of engaging retail stores, focused on customer experience, brand identity and commercial performance.

As part of John Evans Interior Architecture & Design, we have over 40 years of experience working closely with both market-leading and independent brands. Our dynamic approach to interior design has allowed us to craft ideas into reality for private, commercial, and Retail clients alike.

Our experience across these sectors has been a major influence in the importance we place on detail design and understanding the individual as both a private client and a consumer.

What we do

Our team of Interior Designers, Furniture Designers, Graphic Designers, Lighting Designers and Architectural Technologists provide total design for retail spaces, from brand propositions and refurbishments (full or part) through to full store concepts and store roll-outs, in-store communications, branding and exhibition design.

We’re passionate about design and value the importance of the physical store and its representation of the brand alongside other platforms such as the website and advertising.

With varying requirements and challenges for each individual project, we work closely with our furniture retail clients to create an enhanced customer journey, supporting them with layout strategies, bespoke displays, decorative finishes, lighting, signage, visual merchandising and much more.

Understanding the commercial operations, ambitions and strategies for each business is crucial and at the forefront of every project we undertake.

An example of our work - DFS are the Sofa Experts, a Retailer of all things Upholstery and have been designing and manufacturing sofas for decades. je+1 have been working with DFS for over 40 years since their inception, through John Evans Interior architecture & Design.
